ClearH2O® has leveraged its successful gel technology applications for nutritional supplements and diets for terrestrial animals to now developing innovative solutions for aquatic animal species. Our pioneering initiative in aquatic products focused on the development of AquaFeed Z, the first ready-to-use aquatic gel diet specifically formulated for zebrafish. Having perfected how to apply our gel technology for delivery and consumption in an aqueous environment, ClearH2O will soon be introducing AquaGel® Hydrate, AquaGel® Omnivore, and AquaGel® Carnivore for marine species.
The creation of our line of AquaGel® products is the result of collaboration between ClearH2O’s food scientists with aquarium and zoo nutritionists to understand the optimum nutritional formulation and physical property requirements to make a dietary supplement with high palatability and convenience in preparation and administration.
All ClearH2O® products are formulated to optimize consumption. Our products are packaged in a ready-to-use, convenient format, and made with purified, sustainable ingredients with long-dated, room temperature shelf stability. The resulting innovative products help veterinarians, curators, and animal care professionals support the dietary and welfare requirements of the animals in their care.
All ClearH2O products are manufactured in a state of the art facility under stringent quality standards that meet food grade cGMP requirements as defined and inspected by the FDA. Our facility meets HACCP guidelines and is certified to meet the rigorous Safe Quality Food (SQF) program standards recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI). ClearH2O® tests all products by an independent laboratory to ensure commercial sterility and product consistency, eliminating nutrition and hydration variability.

AquaGel® Products
AquaGel® Hydrate is a firm, cuttable gel that is 96% purified water designed for efficient and convenient administration of hydration supplementaton to marine mammals.
Ingredients: Purified Water, Hydrocolloids, Food Acid, Electrolyte Blend.
AquaGel® Hydrate is packaged in 1020 gram pouches with ten pouches per case. All ClearH2O products are shelf stable at room temperature.
AquaGel® Omnivore combines ClearH2O’s ready-to-use gel technology with the key nutrients identified by animal nutritionists to meet the dietary supplementation requirements of omnivorous species.
Ingredients: Purified Water, Animal Protein (Fish, Shellfish), Plant Protein (Wheat), Pumpkin, Food Acids, Hydrocolloids, Mineral Mix, Vitamin Mix, Fish Oil, Spirulina, Betaine, Electrolyte Blend, Mixed Tocopherols, Emulsifier, L-Ascorbic Acid Phosphate.
AquaGel® Omnivore is packaged in 550 gram pouches with 20 pouches per case.
AquaGel® Carnivore combines ClearH2O’s ready-to-use gel technology with the key nutrients identified by animal nutritionists to meet the dietary supplementation requirements of carnivorous species.
