Shelf Life
Shelf life is 24 months unopened, at optimal storage conditions. Best if stored between 55° and 65°F (13° and 18° C).
We provide FiberBites to our rhesus and cynomolgus macaques. A veterinarian prescribes them as a clinical treatment for diarrhea and in a few cases for constipation. They are not in our macaque enrichment program. Some animal will eat them as is, some only eat a specific flavor, and some have to have them camouflaged in something else (like a smear of peanut butter on them). Overall, we like the product and they are an easy treatment to give, especially for the animals that eat them directly.
